Originally founded in 1836, this historic distillery famously reopened in 2014 after almost a century of silence and it’s been producing award‑winning single malt whisky ever since. Known for its fruity character, Annandale crafts both peated and unpeated expressions, giving visitors a real flavour of traditional Lowland whisky with a modern twist.
Just 11 miles from High Gaitle Caravan Park, the distillery offers guided tours where you can explore the restored buildings, learn about the whisky‑making process and, of course, enjoy a tasting. There’s also a lovely coffee shop and gift shop, perfect for picking up a bottle or relaxing after your tour.
